Fife Council and NHS Fife are creating a new Partnership, founded on joint working, to achieve the best adult health and social care outcomes for the people of Fife. Our unified service will enhance and promote the health and wellbeing of the people of Fife.

The creation of this new Partnership will mean changes in the way we work. NHS Fife already works to a number of local and national strategies, all aimed at improving the health wellbeing of the population we serve.

The Strategic Framework will set out NHS Fife’s core values and principles and will ensure that these are reflected in all existing and future strategies.

How has the Framework been developed. Overall, the views of people in Fife on the proposed draft Strategic Plan () were very supportive and mostly positive (graph 1) in looking to the future of health and social care in Fife.
